Future choices- vegetarianism or War

To use the name of Allah, Yahweh, or Shiva in the commission of an act of violence against ‘infidels’ with perceived religious moral indignation and justification is reprehensible and moral cultural rubbish. Acts of aggression against women or non-Islamists with perception of accepted righteous indignation and license is cultural and religious delusion and needs to be exposed as the fraud that it is. There is no religious or political justification for violence by any extremist fundamentalist group against segments of society which are peaceful, celebratory, and perceived as secular.

Islamists have no rights to impose their extremist  beliefs on the rest of Humanity anymore than Christians can claim to be the ‘Godhead’ of all civilizations.

Meat-eaters  have no bones to pick with vegetarians  anymore than Muslims have any moral superiority over Hindus, Jains, Christians, Jews, or atheists.

What would happen if tomorrow it was made globally illegal to kill and eat meat or to be Islamist?:

Would we then use violence to justify killing Humans to save other animal species such as cows, pigs, sheep and goats and chickens? Where is your logic that to kill Humans in the name of Diety is justified when you kill other animals without justification for consumption?
This raises the dilemma which early Humanity faced of whether to eat meat or not? of whether to kill animals or Humans for consumption?
The modern movie “Noah” attempted to portray that the descendants of Cain, who killed his brother Abel, were meat eaters and had killed God and were not in the favour of God, which is why God brought down the Great Flood on Cain’s descendants and exterminated them, only favouring Noah and his family who were not meat-eaters, thus vegetarians. Is there any justification to believe that there is a off-planet God that takes relish or satisfaction in destroying its creation because of moral indignation? If one is to attribute any qualities to any Supreme God figure then the qualities of compassion and tolerance would be paramount.

If on the other hand, one believes that the universe is constructed of a balance of action and reaction, creation and destruction or restoration, then the Divine Plan loses its personal appeal and the destructive violent acts of nature which kill all things becomes accepted as part of the Divine Plan and beyond the control of Humanity, which is just another aspect of creation like all other living beings on the planet.

Throughout the history of Humanity and the rise and fall of civilizations there have been the rise and fall of religions, beliefs about what is Divine, and the transmission by Prophets and Messiahs of what was intended for Humanity: Enoch and Methuzelah,  Ezekiel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Confucius, Hammurabi, Goddess Ishtar and Inanna of Akkad and Sumer;  Lord Rama, Lord Krishna,  Lord Buddha;  Cassandra and Tiresias; the Roman Cumean Sibyl; Lord  Jesus Christ, Thoth and Osiris in Egypt, to Quetzacoalt and Viracocha in the Americas.

It appears historically that the religions of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all evolved from the Sumerian roots in Akkad and Sumer, that the hieroglyphs on the Sumerian Tablets recount the legend of the Garden of Eden, the  creation of Adam and Eve by a Supreme Divine God, the fall of Humanity, the expulsion from the garden, the stories of Cain and Abel, of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, of Noah and the flood, of five pre-deluvian cities  including Atlantis.

The first commandment is: Thou shall not kill. Period. This commandment was given by the ‘burning shrub or eternal non-consuming flame’ to Moses, leader of the Hebrew People at the time.
This applies to all living beings does it not? If this commandment were followed strictly we would all be vegetarians and consume fruit and vegetables, legumes and grasses and cereals, eggs and dairy products like cheese, yogurt, and milk which have high protein and fat content needed for a healthy diet. The fishes of the oceans would be spared and would multiply.
What would be the punishment for those who transgress this first commandment? Is there a Divine retribution by the Divine Presence :”I am that I am”, the alpha and the omega; the figure 8, He that has no beginning and no end? The upper part of the figure 8 represents the invisible realm and the lower part represents the material visible realm.
The one flows into the other and the transition is called birth and death.

For 10,000 years Humanity has been involved in intensive mono-crop agriculture to feed increasingly sedentary populations replacing the nomadic hunter-gatherer societies which existed previously. Before this time the Goddess Ishtar dominated Sumerian and pre-Sumerian religion and  Maternal diety controlled and led society.

The practice of killing animals for human consumption predates this transition by a million years and further. The advent of harnessing fire for cooking meats allowed Humanity to grow in numbers and to migrate to other areas from Africa to Asia, Europe, etc.
Lightning fires would have provided sources of fire for Humanity to evolve. Humanity believes in Revelation of the Divine to Humanity through the prophets, those special Humans who talk and listen to God and convey these communications to the rest of Humanity. Through the shaman and medicine men throughout history modern priests and spiritual or religious leaders, mystics and eco-scientists have moved Humanity forward towards higher moral standards of behaviour.
Our planet is becoming consumed by technology, manufacturing, and agriculture resulting in pollution of our air, water, and land. Modern shaman are telling us that the end is near if we don’t change our ways and use resources more justly, eradicate poverty and disease, and curb wealth acquisition by the top 10% at the expense of the other 90%.
Wars and violence in the name of Capitalism, Extremist Religious Belief, or Greed and Power needs to stop.
The killing of all living beings needs to stop. What is needed is a transformation from our fast-food industry, an end to animal food production and processing industry, utilizing our transportation industry exclusively for distribution of vegetarian products to non-local markets.
This is the next era of civilization. Fast-food vegetarian outlets.
The alternative is continued wars and killing. This is not the option I choose.
