It is unfortunate that so much energy and time is spent attempting to prove or disprove whether because God is causative of all phenomenons that God determines outcomes of all causes. This premise is false to begin with. Because God is cause of all creation is false. We should not confuse the consciousness or awareness of creation with the act of creating.
Humanity is created by God yet because of being given consciousness and free will is individually able to create phenomenon which have outcomes that are not directed by God yet are made aware to God because God is universal consciousness. Humanity, made in God’s image, has been given the power to create and to destroy or restore. That being said, that as God has responsibility for creation, so does Humanity must be responsible for what it creates and destroys. They must both respond to the same laws of karma, action and reaction, cycles and consequences.
A large difference between God and Humanity is that we are struggling, in the darkness to find the light and intelligence of the universal laws and to move in a direction which we think is the preferred path towards higher consciousness and union with God, or creator. Through revelation and the word we have been instructed to believe that God wants us to follow certain precepts and commandments to maintain a healthy relationship with God and to ensure redemption from pain and suffering sometimes expressed as punishment or condemnation.
However God does not interfere with Humanity’s power of free will, usually, (lol) and therefore ‘allows’ different outcomes to manifest on earth.
Just like God creates the laws which direct all physical nature, God does not however predestine or pre-ordain earthquakes, hurricanes, or tornadoes; the water, earth, fire, and air elements operate in an inter-related integrated fashion according to their natures and qualities and are sometimes peaceful and sometimes erupting, destructive, and restorative. This God allows according to its universal plan which remains a mystery to Humanity.
As the Universe is expanding and the concept of time is light-years away from that of Humanity’s which is measured in simple life-times and breaths, so it is that the Universal Divine Plan for Humanity must also be slowly evolving to coincide with our snail-pace rhythm of years, eons, etc.
And then we wonder why churches differ in their orientations and why there is so much division in the world as power is fought over by individuals with wealth, nation states battle with weapons of mass destruction, and dictators and oligarchies determine the path of Humanity to suit their personal and often times petty greedy objectives.
And yet God allows this, because of free will, God proposes, and Humanity disposes, often not the way God would like it. That’s the price of free will, once you give it to Humanity, you can’t take it away. You can just attempt to direct it in loving and constructive directions.
