Synthesis: the act of joining apparent disparate strands of knowledge towards obtaining a new understanding of reality, of existence, and of our place in the universe.
Light and Space and Time are experienced with our senses. We know that the visible universe has between 10-25% matter and the other 75-90% is made up of energy composed of gravity, radiation, and electro-magnetic essence.
Every molecule in the universe is made of atoms which vibrate at different frequencies and that waves of light also vary in frequency or length from the long infra-red end of the light spectrum extending towards the short ultra-violet end of the light spectrum. We associate the red end of the spectrum with fire and earth, volcanoes, and heat and gravity. We associate the violet end of the spectrum with water, air, and ether and space. We think in linear terms from grossest to finest in mass, weight, volume, substance.
The visible Universe is made up of both linear elements and circular or cyclical elements.
Science explains our physical material reality in dualistic paradigm along linear continuum or spectra as reference measured in units of length, temperature, mass, pressure, gravity, etc. Reality is less or more of this or that. The concept of emptiness or space is explained in terms of no-thing, or zero, or absence of the ‘one’ unit or measurable element or component. And the Universe is expanding away from a beginning or past and hurtling through space towards another Space and Future at an unknown rate.
The use of spectra to measure light and all matter is based on a linear paradigm and scale from left to right, from less to more, from infra-red to ultra-violet. But perhaps light isn’t linear, it’s circular, and that infra-red joins ultra-violet beyond the visible and measurable reality.
Science has not a unified theory to explain the conjunction between linear and circular concepts of reality. However if we analyze the movement of atoms, stars and galaxies they move in orbits or elliptical circles affected by each others gravities and influence each others movements and destinies. When we plan flight paths we are forced by gravity and resources to think and measure in terms of cycles or circles with a departure and a return. However the universe is not functioning in terms of a cycle that we can detect, it is accelerating and expanding in a linear fashion such that our return is never at the same place as was our departure, creating a further concept of spiral.
We think of Time as either linear or cyclical as we attempt to measure Time in a straight line using calendars yet measure hours and days with clocks in a circle filled with cycles as we explain the passage of Time using the concept of seasons, years, and lifetimes.
Because we are in eternal motion through the universe moving in Space, Time is reflected as the ‘recording of individual moments of reality/experiences in linear fashion from past into future moments of “Now”. And in the end of all our incarnations we will be at a different place both in Space and Time than we were at the moment of our birth, and hopefully we will have evolved upwardly in intensity and depth to become a better wholesome more virtuous being than we were when the experiment in manifestation began achieving to return to the unmanifested state and complete the cycle.
