Transforming one’s life

Transforming one’s life:

Intent follows thought and thought drives emotion and action. By maintaining positive and loving thoughts and emotions we can only produce positive and loving acts of goodwill to everyone.

To transform one’s vices into virtues one must remove the energies one invests in vices and apply them into the virtuous activity:

where there is hatred let me sow love, mercy, and compassion;

where there is injury let me sow pardon and forgiveness;

where there is sloth let me sow acts of goodwill and service towards others;

where there is envy let me sow thoughts of generosity, giving and non-entitlement;

where there is jealousy let there be non-craving and non-stealing of others accomplishments,

where there is gluttony let there be sharing of food and wealth by tithing with others in poverty,

where there is despair let there be hope and faith and belief in a Higher Soul.

It is by looking and turning towards the light and assurance that we are loved and lovable that the darkness will disappear.
