This document presupposes a previous reading of Beck’s spiral dynamic model of human evolution.
I’ve read an interview with Dr. Beck where he details his Spiral Dynamic Model and how people who contain different value MEMES comprehend the world and communicate in it based on those beliefs and values associated with that Meme category.
(MEME- an idea, belief or belief system, or pattern of behavior that spreads throughout a culture either vertically by cultural inheritance (as by parents to children) or horizontally by cultural acquisition (as by peers, information media, and entertainment media)
I don’t agree with him that whole societies or cultures can be labelled so distinctly, and I don’t agree with his colour scheme nor the historical dating which attempts to explain personal and collective human evolution. It appears that Dr. Beck didn’t consider any of the historical documentation regarding the colours of chakra energies.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Basic Needs clearly outlines that every human must satisfactorily succeed in passing through fulfilling each of their basic human needs before they can function adequately in society, much less ascend to higher stages of consciousness.
When lower needs of acceptance or safety or competence are not met it is impossible for someone to ascend to the higher stages of ‘integral enlightenment’ or even to the stage of post-modern ideological non-dualism.
Ken Wilber in his book “The Brief History of Everything” outlines the historical hierarchy of social cultural evolution and psychological evolution which accompanied those cultures. These models are generalizations of what happened to the whole human race, but does not preclude the rising of certain special individuals to higher levels of consciousness who have been called to more social responsibility and personal sacrifice to advance the consciousness of all Humanity: the Buddha, the Christ, Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Einstein, St. Francis, St. Teresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross, and other mystics who have surpassed the masses in their personal mystical and spiritual journeys and learnings. Both science and spirituality have been sources of genius and innovators moving Humanity forward.
It’s unfortunate that his historical approach to value systems which Beck proposes doesn’t coincide with the Human 12-Chakral Energy System of personal development. My understanding of personal and social development is that it depends primarily on the social values which that person chooses to believe. The whole issue of ‘free will’.
It may be those values which were transmitted by parents and society’s culture mostly are chosen, but is also made up of those values which that person carried with them into this life from their previous lives and are stored in their ‘store consciousness’. (Buddhist emphasis).
Therefore any individual may be operating on any of the eight levels of the spiral which Dr. Beck developed. They may be born on the first or second tier of personal evolution or may move up the spiral more quickly than most because of their divine code or divine mission.
I think that it is possible for a person to spend a whole lifetime operating at a lower chakral energy vibration and never ascend to higher chakral vibrations of the heart, ajna, or higher. And by that I mean that although humans have use of all eleven chakras in the body most don’t utilize them or access them directly and willfully.
Many individuals are greatly influenced by their lower chakral energy vibrations and choose the physical material desires and impulses which come their way or which they seek out, neglecting the higher impulses, desires, or graces which may be offered from time to time. These individuals are not ‘ in the state’ that they can acknowledge or be aware of a higher plane of existence because they vibrate at a lower light frequency which doesn’t allow them to entertain or receive the higher light energy vibration messages. They’re just not listening for the messages. There’s too much chatter in their brains and solar plexus chakras to be able to hear anything else.
The pathway of light energy messages from the higher chakras downward to the lower chakras is mediated by the crown and heart chakras which is the doorway between the higher and lower chakras. When the heart chakra is closed grace can’t be felt or received by the individual nor can love and kindness be expressed.
The pathway of light energy messages upward from the lower chakras past the solar plexus chakra to the higher chakras can only occur when the heart chakra has been activated and it has been connected to the upper crown chakra via the throat, secondary throat, ajna, and forehead chakras.
The pathway or meridian which is the front central meridian is the yin feminine quality pathway of love, kindness, mercy and compassion, gratitude, and forgiveness.
The self-centered ego-centric desires of the lower chakras can’t penetrate into the higher chakras. The heart chakra has to be activated first. It is activated by an act of grace which is given by the Spirit or agent of the ‘Higher Soul’ and which is accepted by the incarnated ‘Soul’.
I do not know why some individuals never receive grace, never accept it or don’t accept the messages which come to the heart via the higher chakral energy vibration messages. The crown chakra has to be activated for the down pouring of divine energy to access the heart chakra via the forehead, ajna, and throat and secondary throat chakras. The crown chakra is activated through prayer or meditation invoking the presence and blessings of the Supreme Source, God, or Essence; The Prime Creator.
It is only when the chakral energies have been all connected through the meridians, both front and back that the kundalini energy can rise from the base chakra to the crown without interruption. Then the physical body is ready to receive the greatest amount of divine energy possible. The physical body is not capable of receiving or containing the total ‘consciousness of God’. That is why we have the Holy Masters, and the Holy Saints and the Holy Angels and the Higher Beings of Light who intercede for us and act as transformers between us and the Supreme or Causal Essence which is not material, but is the totality of Matter and Emptiness in all the Universes.
Master Choa Kok Sui developed and elaborated the 12 chakra energy system.
The psychological descriptions are taken from ‘Creation of Health’ by Shealy and Myss. (Even though Caroline Myss only uses the Indian 7-chakra model).
Reference for the chakras is: “The Chakras” by Master Choa Kok Sui.
We begin at the basic or root chakra with red being the main colour of survival, safety and manifesting one’s goals, and fight or flight response, much of the prana is brought in to the basic chakra through the feet and the minor sole chakras and also from the spleen chakra via the naval chakra.
The second chakra, being the sex chakra which is made up or red-orange energy and the concern for power, both sexual and financial, and the stage of What’s Mine or possessiveness of ego development.
Then the third chakra which is the naval chakra involves confidence, competence, and trust is the orange- yellow energy center.
Each of the three lower chakras also borrow energies from the solar plexus chakra where the emotions of fear and anger are contained, modifying the second chakra’s sense of inadequacy, insecurities, or fear of poverty.
The fourth chakra is the meng mein chakra which is responsible for maintaining blood pressure, and the adrenal glands functioning. It is the basic energy pump for the back meridian.
It is also responsible for moving the basic energies up the back meridian to the back solar plexus chakra. The lower chakras are energized from the ground prana which is taken up from the sole minor chakras up the legs posterior meridian to the basic/root chakra and up to the meng mein chakra and back solar plexus chakra.
The fifth chakra is the spleen chakra which is the doorway for air prana entering the body and moves the air prana to the naval chakra for distribution to the other higher chakras.
The sixth chakra is the solar plexus which is the clearing house chakra for the lower emotions of fear and anger. It’s also the seat for the lower desires. It’s colour is yellow. this is also the centre for our lower instinctual nature.
The seventh chakra is the heart chakra, which is yellow-green energy and is concerned with the emotion of love, kindness, mercy, compassion, gratitude and forgiveness.
This chakra is the doorway to the higher chakras. The shadow aspect of this chakra is withholding love, mercy, compassion, forgiveness, and not knowing gratitude.
The eighth chakra is the throat chakra and it’s colour is green-blue.
It is responsible for our expression, our conversations, creativity and individuality. Its’ energies are contained in the learnings of consequences that what we say has deep significance and meaning and impact on others. It’s negative impact on health when self-expression of thoughts and emotions are repressed and not expressed or expressed negatively to intentionally hurt.
The ninth chakra is the ajna, a point between the eyes, the seat of willpower and the mental centre, where discernment and judgment and decision-making lies. This is the centre which also controls pituitary gland and the central nervous system. It’s colour is blue-violet.
The tenth chakra is the forehead, seat of wisdom, inspiration, and illumination; which is also called the ‘third eye’, doorway to the astral plane. It’s colour is violet.
The eleventh chakra is the crown which is the location of the divine heart and doorway to the upper soul. It controls the pineal gland which is attached to the permanent mental cord. It’s colour is violet.
The twelfth chakra is located one foot above the head and is the location of the Higher Soul, the Christ Consciousness, doorway to the astral plane. “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
The Father being the causal essence of All.
