We can stop the downward spiral into despair and depression by watering seeds of hope and faith and trust.
We need to weed the garden of our store consciousness of the negative ideas, thoughts, and emotions which we water with our instances of fear, anxiety, and doubt.
These are the two premises upon which is built the very foundation of Buddha-ness.
It involves the “do’s” and the “don’ts”.
We need to actively stop watering seeds which lead us into a downward spiral of despair and depression.
The downward spiral is full of negative energies which we produce ourselves. We don’t need to look outside of ourselves to find the source or cause of our pain and suffering.
Those who do are living in delusion and wasting their efforts in the wrong direction.
The direction to go is inward.
It’s only by increasing our concentration on our thoughts and emotions that we can increase our awareness and as a consequence make better choices going forward.
To stop the downward spiral is easy. We have to stop blaming others for our pain and suffering.
We need to take responsibility for our health and poverty consciousness.
It’s not like we’re on a down-escalator over which we have no control but to keep going until we reach the bottom. That metaphor is wrong.
We’re on a spiral of evolution over which we have control of whether we stay static, and fall behind the evolutionary forces, or whether we take action, and move forward and upward , evolving and freeing ourselves from the slavery and misery of bondage to old patterns and behaviours.
We have the power to take control of our lives.
We have the freedom to make choices which will increase our joy, prosperity and bliss.
There are many things to be grateful for. Every breath is a moment to be filled with gratitude.
Every morning is a moment to be grateful for another opportunity to challenge our weaknesses, our attitudes, and a chance to increase our hope, love, trust, and faith in the Greatness of Life.
Our life-force, our spiritual Essence, is made of the same Spark as is the Creative God-source.
We can connect with the Universe by connecting with our inner Divine Spark and connecting with the Spark within the eyes and hearts of each and every person we meet every day.
We have the power to choose how we will live our lives today and every day.
Let’s make better choices and move up that spiral staircase towards the Shamballa, the Stronghold, our Home.
